Preparation and use of electropolishing salts: Use a stainless steel cathode with a surface area approximately twice that of the piece.
Use a glass container or, failing that, a more effective stainless steel container because it provides even heat distribution. It is important to use a bath thermometer to both start and monitor the temperature within the bath, as it generates heat. Available in 1, 2, 3, and 5-liter sizes.
Dissolve the salts in distilled water at approximately 40°C. It is important to dissolve the black salts first, followed by the white salts. Stir until completely dissolved and heat to 60°C. The bath will then be ready for use.* Due to evaporation under working conditions, the bath level must be maintained with distilled water.
Apply ultrasonic degreaser.
Apply electrolytic degreaser.
Rinse with running water.
Maintain the bath at the indicated temperature (60°C) for 5 to 15 seconds, performing frequent visual checks.
Rinse with hot running water.
POST-TREATMENT:
Perform electrolysis with tartaric acid (50 g of acid per liter of distilled water).
Rinse with running water.
Dry using standard methods.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
This product is harmful if swallowed and irritates the eyes and skin. It is important to keep it in a tightly closed container and not dispose of waste down the drain. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water and seek medical attention. Perform the work cycle in a well-ventilated area.
