esFil PLA 850 belongs to the esFil family of 3DFils in which the essential filaments for 3D printing are grouped.
The esFil PLA 850 filament is manufactured in Spain from Ingeo 3D850 PLA plastic from NatureWorks. This PLA is specifically developed for use in 3D printing and is considered the best PLA on the market. Ingeo 3D850 PLA allows higher printing speed and provides better mechanical properties compared to other PLA filaments on the market. In addition, the thermal properties of PLA Ingeo 3D850 (rapid crystallization) give it a higher cooling speed, which translates into a better definition since the layers will solidify before becoming deformed by the effect of heat.
On the other hand, thanks to its solid molecular structure, it is able to withstand a crystallization process by baking without deforming. In this way, we can give the final piece better mechanical properties without modifying its original dimensions.
The 3DFils manufacturing process ensures excellent quality on each roll of 3D filament, with a standard deviation of 0.01mm and a maximum tolerance of 0.03mm ensuring smooth, jam-free printing. The ovality below 1% allows the application of the layers to be more uniform, improving the final finish of the piece.
PLA is the most popular material in 3D printing, thanks to its ease of printing and compatibility with all FDM printers on the market, both with bowden or direct extruders.
Ingeo 3D850 PLA is a biodegradable material that is obtained from natural raw materials and not dependent on oil, it does not need a hot bed in printing and it hardly emits odors. These properties and the absence of warping make it the perfect material to start 3D printing. Among the most popular applications of PLA are the manufacture of prototypes, functional parts and tools.
Vacuum packed in 90 micron bags with a silica gel bag inside to guarantee its conservation and the absence of humidity. Available in 1Kg filament spools. Filament available with diameter 1.75 mm.
